Thanks to the amazing advocacy and leadership of Interim Place, over 140 signatures were collected and presented, along with a proclamation request, to the Region of Peel Council Meeting in April.
The Council agreed to proclaim International Day for Elimination of Racial Discrimination in 2010 and years to come.
Thank you all for your signatures, words of support, and positive energy in helping us carry forth voices of residents of Peel.
