Employment Equity 101 Workshop

The Health and Racism Working Group is presenting an Employment Equity 101 Workshop to kick off it's role as the local lead for the Colour of Change Network's Trillium-funded project.

Discussing issues such as:
- Isn't it reverse discrimination?
- Does it mean hiring under-qualified people?
- Does Ontario have employment equity?
- Why do we need employment equity?
- How can we know if we have employment equity?
- How does it relate to poverty?

The workshop will bring together those interested in understanding employment equity and who can be active in bringing awareness to Peel Region.
