Hosted at the Derrybrae Building in Malton, community members are invited to talk about health and wellness for Black communities.
Speakers include:
Carlene McKenzie, who will be speaking about health and wellness, specifically for Black communities
Anya White, a dietitian from the Bramalea Community Health Centre, will be speaking about healthy living for Black community members
Malton Moms and Health and Racism Working Group (HaR) members will be leading participants through dialogue on the connections between race, racism and health as they relate to Black communities

A newsletter marking Black History Month, with contributions from East Mississauga Community Health Centre and the Peel HIV/AIDS Network, will also be released at the event!

This is a FREE event, and food will be provided. Join us to take time to focus on health - communities' health AND individual health. Join us for dialogue on the connections between structural oppression and our health, with a focus on the resiliency of our communities.
